Choosing the Right Pampered Chef Stoneware

Updated: Feb 15

Pampered Chef stones have been a staple in everyday kitchens for oh so many decades, so they defiantly know a thing or two about designing the best products for your kitchen. Many chefs and mom's rely on Pampered Chef's trusted brand to help them create tasty, amazing dishes for their family. Pampered Chef's stones are created carefully with you in mind to be able to make everything from pizza crust, to dinners in the microwave, or even create that delicious dessert that everyone is asking for.

As a mom, it's so important for me to be able to create a dinner for my family that not only tastes great, but is also nutritious. I firmly believe by having the right cookware, I am able to do that for my family. Trust me, there is nothing worse than grabbing a pot or pan out of the cabinet then realizing you can't use it because it's rusty...or broken. - Been there, done that.

One of the reasons why I stick to Pampered Chef brand is because they make their cookware so durable that it is really hard to break or rust. My mom's had cookware from them for well over 10 years and still going strong! - You won't find a brand like this any other place.

I recently bought Pampered Chef New Stoneware Collection to add to my kitchen. I can tell you, it's the best purchase I've ever made. So, why use Pampered Chef Stoneware? - what a great question! These stones are so durable, you can cook, freeze, microwave, serve, and reheat with the same stone.

As great as these stoneware might be, there might be a few questions you might be asking yourself "Do you have to season pampered chef stoneware?" - Nope, not at all! -which makes it great for daily use!

Pampered Chef's Stoneware Collection comes in so many shapes and sizes, there’s a stone for everything. The clay for our stones is mined in the USA and made from 100% natural materials.

Another feature that I really like about Pampered Chef's Stoneware is that it is available in three different varieties: Unglazed, Partially Glazed and Fully Glazed.

Unglazed Pampered Chef Stoneware

I absolutely love this version of Stoneware because it's made with Pampered Chef's StoneFusion formula which is their strongest, most durable stoneware yet. I also love their Unglazed stones because they are dishwasher-safe, and can be preheated and go under the broiler! Talk about win! Plus, they develop a nonstick finish with use.

Partially Glazed Stoneware

The partially glazed stoneware is such an elegant type of cookware. This version is glazed on the exteriors and combined with unglazed interiors to really make this type of cookware ideal from going straight from the oven to the table. The partially glazed stoneware develops a natural, nonstick finish overtime, so the more you use them, the better they get!

Fully Glazed

The fully glazed version is great from going to oven to table as well, but also is great if you would want to run these through the dishwasher. If you are looking to serve any dish for a holiday meal or gathering, this is the version you want. It's also great because it retains the heat, which helps to keep the food warm while sitting out for your guest to dish out whatever tasty dish you made.

Choosing the Right Stoneware For Your Kitchen

Now that we have talked about what versions of Stoneware is available (which are all great), but now's the time we talk about what kind of stoneware will best fit your needs as a chef.

The Unglazed Stoneware is perfect for oven temps up to 500 degrees F, dishwasher safe and you can use it with metal utensils - which is perfect because I don't know about you, but I own a lot of metal, wire whisks. They usually scratch up the bottom of my pan or pot, especially because I make a lot of sauces, or mac and cheese for the kiddos. But, with this type of stoneware, you will get no scratches at all. Plus there is a 3 year guarantee on all of the stoneware.

The Partially glazed stoneware is also perfect for those oven temps up for 500 degrees F, you can use it in the oven and microwave, and dishwasher safe. The down side to this type is that even though you can use the metal utensils on some of them, it might cause a bit of marring on the surface. I highly recommend using the silicone utensils if you have them just to keep your stoneware looking newer and keep them from getting scratched up. These also have a 3 year guarantee on them as well.

The fully glazed stoneware is purely amazing. This is one of my favorites because we do a lot of holiday dinners and family gatherings. This type of stoneware makes your presentation complete because they are just beautifully created and have that perfect finish on it. You can use this type of stoneware in the oven up to 425 degrees F, they are oven and microwave safe and you can use metal utensils with them without having them scratch the finish. They also have a 3 year guarantee on them as well.

No matter if you are just an everyday chef cooking up tasty meals in your kitchen to a professional chef in a 5 star restaurant. We all need high quality kitchen items to be able to create those dishes for our family, friends and everyone we cook for.
