Barre Blend Review: Beachbody's Popular Fitness Program

This is a Review of Beachbody's Popular Home Workout, Barre Blend. If you have come here to read this, you might be asking a few questions and wondering if this workout program will be able to fit your fitness and nutrition needs.

Not to worry, I will be able to help you answer ALL of those questions that are commonly asked. From common questions to What is Barre? All the way up to the products that are included when you decide that the program is right for you.

Let me first by saying that I am a Beachbody Coach and I have been a Personal Trainer for a few years. My personal preference for workouts are the real high intensity, fast paced and heavy lifting. I like to feel like I have accomplished something at the gym. I usually stay away from the light workouts such as yoga and Barre. But, after completing this Program, my thoughts about Barre have really changed entirely! I felt energized and I really did feel like I got a good workout out of Beachbody's Barre Blend.

I'm not just saying this because I am a Beachbody Coach. This is my honest opinion of the program and I want to be able to help educate you on whether this program is right for you.

What is Beachbody's Barre Blend?

Beachbody's Barre Blend is a low-impact, high-intensity, and high-energy workout program. This program is designed in order to help you create a lean, toned physique through a fun fitness routine of ballet barre, Pilates, and cardio interval training.

Elise Joan, who is a super trainer, will make sure you feel the burn as you sweat, stretch, and strengthen with moves that help chisel your waist, define your arms, lean out your legs, and lift and firm your booty—without bulking you up.

You can feel graceful, strong, and gorgeous in just 60 days.

What Makes Beachbody's Barre Blend Unique?

Barre Blend is Beachbody’s first barre program, and with Elise Joan, a barre expert, professional dancer, and 3 Week Yoga Retreat co-creator. Elisa is your trainer during your live workouts. A benefit to attending a live fitness program is that you know you’re going to get amazing results.

With Elise's extensive fitness and dance background, she designed full-body workouts that include high-rep, small-range movements, full-range exercises, targeted core work, and more!

Not to mention every 30- to 40-minute workout includes light weight training and cardio intervals to keep your heart rate up so you can burn maximum calories and fat. You’ll work out with Elise and the cast in real time, 5 days a week, which makes you feel like you’re in a high-end barre studio with a super-supportive community.

Beachbody claims that you don't have to have any dance experience or ballet barre. That is right! ABSOUTLY NO EXPERIANCE REQUIRED! Elise will teach you everything you need to be successful and learn from her.

Elise’s uses any sturdy household object (such as a chair, sofa, or countertop) intertwined with her workouts. This is really a unique spin on using convenient items around your own house so you don't have to get unnecessary workout equipment.

Sometimes, we tend to fall off the wagon and give up because we can't do a certain workout or exercise. One thing that I love about Barre Blend is that Elise has created “I AM” Daily Motivation Cards with messages that are very inspirational in order to help you cultivate a positive mindset every day to keep your head in the game!

What's Included in Beachbody's Barre Blend Program?

WORKOUTS FREE sample workout The perfect way to try Barre Blend before they buy.

2 prep workouts Two prep workouts—20-min Classic Full Body Blend and 20-min Cardio Blend—will introduce you to the program so you can get started right away.

40 unique workouts The program is broken down into 4 phases, with 5 workouts each week. Elise changes up the moves and level of difficulty every 2 weeks, so you keep seeing results.

5 bonus “10-minute enhancement” workouts Target specific parts of your body for extra toning—like core, upper body, lower body, and booty—by adding a 10-min enhancement at the end of any workout. (There’s also a 10-min cardio enhancement workout.)

Why do I need to try Barre Blend?
